Carroll Shelby unveils CS 6 Mustang at SEMA

A new Shelby Mustang will go on sale in 2006 - and it's a V6! Looking for the same combination of balance, power and agility as the legendary GT350, Shelby Automobiles decided to use a supercharged V6 as the powerplant for its newest Mustang, the CS 6, rather than a V8. The car is on display at the Vortech/Paxton booth at SEMA.

The centerpiece of the engine bay is a NOVI-1200 Paxton intercooled supercharger, which boosts the output of the V6 to more than 350 hp. Other performance enhancements include a suspension upgrade, Baer brakes and Borla dual exhaust.

Interior and exterior mods include:

  • Custom hood

  • Custom grilles

  • New front and rear fascia

  • Custom 20" American Racing wheels

  • Shelby Automobiles badging
